Defending state champ Princess Anne , ranked No. 1 in South Hampton Roads, is unbeaten in Beach District play heading into Friday's showdown at fourth-ranked Kellam.
The game should feature a rematch between Princess Anne ace Zach Woods (6-0) and Kellam's Sean Ray (3-3). Ray's record is deceptive. A senior lefthander who has signed with Auburn, Ray has two one-run losses. He struck out 10 against Princess Anne in a 2-1 loss to Woods, who has signed with East Carolina.
