Pappas, Vikings keep winning on tennis court
Kiersten Pappas and the Loudoun Valley Vikings advanced to regionals on Monday. Pappas is Valley's # 1 singles player and she kept her season alive by winning her match 6-0, 6-0. Pappas and teammate Genya Mozheyko weren't as lucky together as they lost their doubles match against Chantilly 4-6, 1-6. The Vikings girls team plays Thomas Jefferson Tuesday in the next round of the post-season. If Pappas can win on Wednesday, she will advance to the finals and also become a lock for the state tennis tournament.
