Mitchell, Houchens Lead Valley Over County 2-0
The Loudoun Valley Boys soccer team defeated Loudoun County Tuesday night 2-0. The Vikings were led by Senior sweeper Brad Mitchell, Junior defenders Brian Esoda and Jon Houchens, and Junior Goal Keeper Shawn McDonough. Scoring for the Vikings were Wyatt Eblen, assisted by Brian Esoda, and Matt Hiser, assisted by Roberto Neyra.
The Vikings improved to 5-6-2 on the season. The Vikings will be back in action on Thursday at Freedom, and then at home on Friday against Briar Woods. Friday will also be Senior Night for the Vikings, kick-off has been moved up to 6:00 due to Briar Woods not having a JV team.
