Indian River falls to Hickory at Harbor Park
The Indian River Braves took on the Hickory Hawks at Harbor Park on Friday afternoon.
Both schools fundraising efforts resulted in sales of 1400 tickets to the game.
Hopes were high on both benches as the teams arrived at the field, but due to
a strong pitching performance and a defense that made all of the plays, the Braves
walked away hitless in a 5 - 0 loss.
The Braves look to rebound Tuesday as they travel to Suffolk to take on
district-leading Nansemond River High at 5:30pm
