Indian River Braves Drop 3, But Still in the Race
After a rough three game losing stretch, the Braves are still upbeat, knowing that
they still are in the playoff race. The Braves play Lakeland High, with whom the
team is tied in losses, at home on Tuesday and the current 4th place team in the
district, Western Branch, on Friday. The was reason to be optimistic despite
losing to Nansemond River 5 to 2 last week as the team knocked around Georgia
Tech-bound Will Hirsch, collecting 8 hits (including 3 doubles).
