Hornets Advance in District Tourney
The Herndon Varsity Baseball team won a big game Monday night, advancing in the District tournament with a 3-0 win at home over Chantilly. Tate Swanson hit a two-run home run in the first inning, his fifth home run of the season. Ben Calacci and Justin Castle also scored. Daniel Lombardozzi pitched a 3 hit, 8 strikeout complete game. Herndon's defense was sharp and error free. Next up is Robinson on Wednesday the 17th at Robinson. Game time is 6:30.
