First Colonial Tied for First with Princess Anne

The fourth-ranked Knights (13-4, 12-2) scored twice in the sixth inning to overcome a 5-4 deficit and deal the No. 1 Cavaliers (14-4, 13-1) their first Beach District defeat resulting in a final score of Kellam 6, Princess Anne 5: Jason Taylor smacked his fifth home run, tripled and scored three times for the victors. Tyler Loftus and Dory Fields added three hits apiece. Brett Curil won his sixth game, while Princess Anne's Zach Woods suffered his first loss in eight decisions.

Frank Berry and John Kirby each hit two run doubles in the fifth for the Patriots (16-2, 13-1), topping Bayside 4-2. The win moved First Colonial into a tie with Princess Anne for first place in the Beach District. The co-leaders meet Wednesday at First Colonial.

Stephen Murray threw six innings of three-hit ball and Neil Ramirez contributed his second home run to help topple the No. 8 Falcons. Robert Stinson singled and scored what proved to be the winning run in the second inning and Kempsville defeated Cox 5-1.

Daniel Rye pitched a five-hitter and struck out five to help the No. 9 Ocean lakes Dolphins (11-7, 8-6) defeat Tallwood in a shutout 5-0. Jimmy Six had two hits and two RBIs.
