First Colonial/Princess Anne Dominate in Playoffs

First Colonial tops Salem 10-0. Andy Berry contributed three runs and Jesse Baker had six hits for the top ranked Patriots (19-2). Blake Boyce hit his first home run for First Colonial in the fourth.

Princess Anne handled Bayside as Ben Tomchick (6-0) pitched a six-hitter and struck out 11 for the second ranked Cavaliers who are 16-5. Tyler Mann hit his fourth home run and had a triple, bringing in four RBIs. The Cavaliers advance to play Kellam Tuesday in the semi-final at Landstown.

The third ranked Kellam Knights won over Kempsville 4-3 on a Nate Akers walk-off home run in the seventh.

Ocean Lakes won over Cox 4-3 off two Cox throwing errors in the fifth. Daniel Rye scored the winning run off a single. Miles Tracy pitched a six-hitter for the Dolphins. Ocean Lakes will face First Colonial on Tuesday at Landstown.
