Potomac Falls Boy's Soccer: District Champs

Offense Wins Championships
The Potomac Falls Boy’s Soccer team took home the Dulles District Championship Thursday evening, defeating the Heritage Pride 2-1. Going into the second half, the Panthers led 1-0. With just about fifteen minutes left in the game, Heritage junior Jack Killian scored, and tied the game at one a piece. However, the Potomac Falls offense was too much for Dulles District Keeper of the year, Pride Senior Arman Bozorgmanash.
In the last minutes of the game, Potomac Falls Senior Ben Biber broke away from the Heritage defenders, and scored the deciding goal. The Panthers were awarded the Group AA Dulles District trophy presented by Potomac Falls Principal David Spage.
Potomac Falls' success this season has, in large part, been due to their powerful offense and tremendous coaching. The Panthers are led by Dulles District Coach of the year Dave Gryder, and have not lost a single game. The Panthers have scored 86 goals throughout the season, with Dulles District Player of the year, Uche Onyeador scoring 22 of them. The Panthers hope to rely on their high-octane offense when Handley travels to Potomac Falls on Monday in the first round of Regional Playoffs, while Heritage visits Brentsville.
