Patriots Upset Knights,Cavaliers Crush Dolphins
The First Colonial Patriots (12-2, 9-1) win their fifth consecutive game against the Kellam Knights 4-3. Topher Ellis singled in the tying run then scored on a two-run RBI Double by Andy Berry to beat the 2nd ranked Knights (8-4,7-2). Andy Berry was the Winning Pitcher (6-0).
The #1 ranked Cavaliers (11-3, 10-0) held on tigh to their lead in the Beach District thanks to Jake McAloose and Tyler Mann who combined for five hits and three RBIs. Zach Woods (5-0), who has signed with East Carolina was the winning Pitcher. The Cavaliers made 6 runs in their first bat. Pat Hall of Ocean Lakes hit a two run double to avoid the shut-out.
