Kempsville falls and Princess Anne wins big 15-0

The Green Run Stallions dealt the Chiefs (11-2, 8-1) their first Beach District loss on a bottom of the seventh winning run by Rose Gressley, who was also the winning pitcher. Gressley recorded 10 strike-outs and scored a first inning home run.

Princess Anne moves to within one game of first place with a big win over Bayside 15-0. Kristie Shiflett had three hits with three RBIs and Shannon Mitchell celebrated her 18th birthday in style by pitching a one hitter and scoring her first high school home run, a three run hit. She had four hits and drove in five runs for the previously 4th ranked Cavaliers (10-2, 7-2).
