Esoda's Goal Propells Valley past Dominion 3-1

The Loudoun Valley Boys soccer team defeated Dominion 3-1 on Friday. Junior Wyatt Eblen got the Vikings on
the board when he finished a cross from Brian Esoda. Valley held a 1-0 lead until the 70th minute when
Dominion finished a break-a-way to tie the game at 1-1. Viking goalie Shawn McDonough came up with a
huge diving save that preserved the 1-1 tie. Junior Brian Esoda scored the game winner at the 76 minute
mark with a upper 90 blast from about 25 yards out. Senior Keith Ott added an insurance goal when he
finished his break-a-way at the 78th minute. Brock Bell added the assist an assist for the Vikings.

The Vikings improved to 4-6-2 on the season, and will play next Tuesday at home against rival Loudoun County.
