Ballentine leads Panthers over Patriots 12-2
Potomac Falls defeated Park View at Potomac Falls last evening 12-2. Sophomore pitcher Aaron Sweger scattered six hits to pick up the win. Offensive standouts for Potomac Falls included Brandon Ballentine who went 2 for 3 with 3 RBI, Nick Price who went 2 for 4 with 2 RBI, Jon Bracken - 2 for 2 and 2 RBI, Corey Flickinger - 2 for 4, and Nick Nielsen - 3 for 4. Defensively, Nick Gammie made a full layout to snare a line-drive off a Patriot bat, and shortstop Nick Price dove in the hole and gunned down a hitter in the fifth inning to snuff out a Patriot rally. The Panthers improve in the Dulles District to 4-3 and overall to 8-4.
